Tabla Pico, the younger brother of Tabla

The R&D department of Human Audio turns into computer based listening as well. After a lot of thinking and experiments, one new device was born: "Tabla" which became the missing link for the people who wanted to listen to music straight off their computer to the higest level. Now we are proud to introduce the younger brother of Tabla, which is the Tabla Pico.

We are releasing our second USB Interface for HD Audio at a more affordable price than our previously existing Tabla. Based on the Human Audio philosophy, this device is also purely battery powered with a built-in high grade Lithium-Iron-Phosphate (LiFePO4) cell. Its specifications are identical to the original Tabla, the only difference being that the newbie has only one internal battery. The battery charging is fully automatized through the connected and powered USB port during idle times.

With this new device, we are able to connect an existing audiophile / high-end DAC (especially our newly developed "MUTO" HD Dac or the next generation "Libretto HD" CDP) to the PC in order to enjoy "BIT-PERFECT" playback of audio streams up to 24bit/192kHz. The Tabla Pico needs only one free USB 2.0 port on the PC and it outputs a S/PDIF coaxial digital signal to the DAC, via a 75Ω BNC connector.

Tabla Pico provides ultimate audio performance using a built-in battery of the highest grade(for the lowest ripple and the least noisy output performance), a very advanced ripple smoothing technology when using the USB power while the battery is being silently recharged, ultra-low jitter (3 ppm) discrete onboard clocks for 44.1kHz and 48kHz multiples, a specialized pulse transformer on its real 75Ω BNC output and of course one of the best USB-Audio algorithm available on the market (developed by M2Tech).
