Fortepiano, the battery powered integrated amplifier

Six Moons Review ( www.6moons.com )

The guiding principles of the development of Fortepiano, was to perfectly suit it's front-end companion Libretto in design and in philosophy.
The name came from piano, which in contrast with the harpsichord has been able to sound in changing dynamics. Depending the force one hit the key, the note could be quiet or loud.

The output of the little amp at 4 ohm load is 2 x 16 Watts, and at 8 ohm load is 2 x 10 Watts, with Scene speakers it is more then enough for an average size or a slightly bigger room. It is recommended to add an optional / additional external power supply, the DuoForte, when greater performance is called for, like less sensitive speakers, or larger listening room. (See at the products!)

The fortepiano has an internal battery, which charging is monitored and controlled with intelligent circuit. It charges when not in use. Operating time per charge within 12-48 hours depending on heaviness of use. A utimate 32 steps relay volume controls can be set also with the remote control. The current volume level and the actual input displayed in the information display.

Three pairs of RCA inputs are also linked with discrete relays, also taking into consideration the shortest signal path. There is the option to choose from them on the front panel.
The size is same as the rest of the system: 180 x 270 x 90mm.
The housing has a well built bamboo veneer out.
There are three outer veneer to choose from: light and dark bamboo and with wenge.

In special case, with an agreement with the manufacturer, other housing material is also available for individual order.
